The 2015 class of Leadership Watertown and the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce invite community members, civic groups and local businesses to participate in the first annual Watertown Community Action Day on June 12th.  The Community Action Day is designed as an opportunity to give back to the community that you live and work in.  Volunteers will be working in the local parks landscaping and doing general clean-up.  Parks include Brandt Quirk, Clark, Deer Trail, Hunter Oaks, Lincoln, Mary Rose, Riverside, Timothy Johnson, Union and Washington.  Anyone can participate, including kids when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The event begins at 9am and ends at 3pm on Friday, June 12th.  Participants can choose to work all day or just a few hours.  Lunch with live music at Riverside Park and a t-shirt is included for FREE to all volunteers.

Registration is required. To register for the event, please visit WatertownCommunityActionDay.EventBrite.com.  Parks will be assigned to individuals the first week in June.  For questions, please send an email to WatertownCommunityActionDay@Outlook.com.

About Leadership Watertown:
Leadership Watertown is a program for individuals interested in becoming leaders in the community. The programs strives to develop a corps of informed, committed and qualified individuals capable of and willing to provide dynamic leadership in the Watertown area.
