About us

The Jefferson County Human Resource Management Association has been in existence for over 30 years serving Human Resource professionals throughout Jefferson County and the surrounding area. In September 1998 the chapter affiliated with national SHRM.

 

The chapter operates on a program year that normally runs from September through May. The chapter does on occasion hold special meetings during the summer. The chapter's mission is to provide quality educational programs for its members. In order to accomplish this, the chapter regularly surveys its members in order to solicit topic and speaker ideas. Additionally, the chapter presents nationally known speakers each year. Other programming includes local professional speakers.

 

The JCHRMA has partnered with the Jefferson County Workforce Development Center to provide their members with access to comprehensive services to address workforce needs. The two organizations have also pooled their resources to put on countywide job fairs.
