Nearly half of renters in Watertown are considered "housing cost burdened" - meaning at least 30% of their monthly income goes to paying rent.  To address these housing affordability challenges, the Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation has sponsored the creation of a Workforce Housing Strategy for the cities of Watertown and Jefferson. Cedar Corp, a multi-disciplinary firm with a reputable planning staff, was hired to work with our communities to develop an implementation strategy to workforce housing. We Need Your Input Cedar Corp will be talking with you, the Watertown community, on Saturday, December 4 and asking for your opinions.  The Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation will be providing refreshments, coffee and baked goods for the event.  What you'll be doing at the event: You'll be placing dots on large maps of Watertown to show us where you think more economical housing should go; You'll be looking at photos of examples of different kinds of housing to let us know which styles you like and which styles you don't; You'll be actively participating in a discussion on workforce housing and sharing your thoughts and experiences. Come join us and help guide the future of housing in Watertown!   Watertown Senior Center 514 S 1st Street
