Jefferson County Realtors Bowling/Poker Events to Support Rainbow Hospice Care
For the nineteenth consecutive year, Rock River Lanes in Fort Atkinson will host a Nine-Pin Tap Scotch Doubles Bowling Fundraiser to benefit Rainbow Hospice Care. The Jefferson County Board of Realtors will sponsor the event again this year. There will be a single shift available to bowlers on Saturday, February 11 – starting at 1:00 p.m. (with check-in beginning at noon).
The Entry Fee is 30 dollars per couple (shoe rental is not included). Each team will be made up of two bowlers who will bowl a four game set. Bowler 1 will roll the first ball in the first and third games while their partners roll to pick up the spares. In games two and four, bowler 2 will roll first and then bowler 1 will throw for spares. In a Nine-Pin Tap event, nine pins on the first ball are scored as a strike. Bowler handicaps will be based on current league averages, but non-league bowlers can be easily included and are encouraged to participate. Top teams receive cash prizes. A Texas Hold ’em Poker Tournament will also be held in the “Party Room” at Rock River Lanes. Registration begins at 11:00am and the game will start at noon. Play will get underway when registration is completed. The “buy in” for the Poker Tournament is 20 dollars. Questions and early sign-ups should be directed to Rick at (920) 222-4444.
