Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificates
The Gift certificate program has been in existence for over 20 years. Gift certificates provide a member benefit (non-members are charged a 20% convenience fee for redemption), ensure spending remains local and is a service to the general public. In 2017, 111 or 33% of chamber members redeemed at least one certificate.
Current concerns:
$7,000 income
$9,500 expense
$2,500 loss/year
Chamber staff will be sending out a survey to provide feedback from the membership about the value of keeping the gift certificate program. Please respond and let your voice be heard.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES - Did you know you can post any job openings you have with us on our website for free? In 2017, over 22,000 people viewed our website. That's a lot of traffic to miss out on for finding that right person for your business! If you have a career opportunity, please email Shannon.
NOTARY - An additional benefit for 2018 is the addition of Notary service! Please feel free to contact Susan with any questions.

Leadership Watertown is a tuition-based program offered by the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce to its members and their employees.
The mission of Leadership Watertown is to develop a core group of dedicated leaders and educate them on the opportunities and needs of Watertown, with a focus on project management and personal leadership skills.
Leadership Watertown runs from August through May and is divided into two segments: class time and a team project. Class time occurs each month and consists of a combination of speakers, tours, and demonstrations that familiarize students with the community. The team project consists of a community service project selected by the Leadership Board.
Applications are being accepted now. The application is available at www.watertownchamber.com. Click the button “Forms & Applications” and click on the Leadership Application. You may also pick up an application at the chamber office during regular hours.
BMO Harris Bank celebrates our local farm families. "Thank you for your hard work and dedication to producing nutritious, quality food products that sustain our communities and our world.”
Good news golfers! With our need to postpone our 25th Annual Golf Outing to July 26, there is still time to register as a single player or a team. Help the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce in one of our largest fundraisers while having fun and networking at our well-attended outing!
We still have time to sell our ball washer sponsorships!
Only $25 to get your logo onto the course!
Can't make it and would like a chance for our 50/50 raffle? Only $5 secures you a numbered ball for our ball drop from a Watertown Fire Truck!
If you would like to golf, purchase a 50/50 ball, or would like to become one of our ball washer sponsors, please email Shannon at shannon@watertownchamber.com.
The following events are only a snapshot of all that is going around in Watertown.
