This Thanksgiving season, Watertown Piggly Wiggly is giving back to local shoppers and the Watertown community with three big ways to save, win, and support those in need. From a social media turkey giveaway to the annual Turkey Token program and the Holiday Meal Fundraiser, the local grocery store is making it easier than ever to host Thanksgiving dinner while giving back.

1. Social Media Challenge: Win a Free 16-lb. Turkey

Watertown Piggly Wiggly is celebrating the season on social media with a Free Turkey Giveaway. The store is asking the community to help it reach a milestone of 2,000 Facebook followers by November 14. Once the page reaches 2,000 followers, one lucky winner will take home a free 16-lb. Thanksgiving turkey!

How to Enter:

• Follow the official Watertown Piggly Wiggly Facebook page and like the giveaway post.

• Comment on the post confirming you follow the page and share your favorite Thanksgiving side dish.

• Share the post to help reach the goal!

We'll announce the winner on Facebook after November 14, and they must be able to pick up their prize in-store.

2. Shop & Earn: Free Thanksgiving Turkey Token Program

To reward loyal customers, Watertown Piggly Wiggly is launching its Thanksgiving Turkey Token Program, giving shoppers a direct way to earn a free turkey (up to 14 lbs) for their holiday table.

• Earn Tokens (October 25 – November 17): Receive one (1) Turkey Token printed on your receipt for every single-trip purchase of $100 or more. (Excludes alcohol, lottery tickets, gift cards, and tobacco products.)

• Redeem Your Turkey (November 18 – November 26): Bring 4 Turkey Tokens to the store to claim your free turkey in time for Thanksgiving dinner!

3. Give Back: Annual Holiday Meal Fundraiser

Starting November 1 through December 5, Watertown Piggly Wiggly customers can help feed neighbors in need through the store’s Holiday Meal Fundraiser. Shoppers can round up their total at checkout.

Every year, Piggly Wiggly employees and shoppers team up to support local families facing food insecurity. 100% of all rounded-up funds go directly to charitable organizations in the Watertown community.

"Thanksgiving is all about community, gratitude, and coming together over a great meal," said store leadership. "Whether you're shopping with us to earn your holiday turkey, joining our Facebook giveaway, or rounding up your change to help a neighbor in need, we appreciate the ongoing support of our Watertown community." Brian Wohlfeil, Store Owner
