2025-2026 Class Project
The Fanny P. Lewis Beautification Project focuses on revitalizing and enhancing the community park to create a welcoming, accessible, and sustainable outdoor space for residents and visitors. The project improves landscaping through the restoration of green spaces and the addition of new plants and trees, while also painting and restoring the existing gazebo. It includes the installation of a bubbler water fountain with a dog-accessible station, encouraging increased community and visitor use. Informational signage highlights historical facts and recognizes project sponsorship. Through community involvement and local partnerships, the project promotes environmental stewardship while delivering environmental and community benefits through improved green spaces, enhanced park amenities, and increased public use.

2024-2025 Class Project
The 2024–25 Leadership Watertown class worked to revitalize the 1st Street alleyway in Historic Downtown Watertown. The project created a vibrant and welcoming public space for all. Further, it supported back-door accessibility, which will be a vital resource during the 2028 Main Street construction project. The art installations were visible from the Watertown Public Library and Bentzin Family Town Square. This project served as a pilot initiative, showcasing the transformative power of enhancing underutilized alleyways, fostering community engagement, and inspiring future improvements within Downtown Watertown and beyond.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone for their incredible support.
