The Watertown Unified School District Board of Education is seeking to gauge voter support for a future operational referendum through a survey that will be mailed to all school district households later this week.
The Board of Education has hired School Perceptions, an independent educational research firm, to conduct the survey and to ensure all responses are kept confidential.
The survey has been emailed to all WUSD staff members, and it will also be emailed to all WUSD parents and guardians this week. If multiple members of one household would like to take the survey, additional copies can be obtained by contacting Lynn Linskens at (920) 262-1460 ext. 3202 or by emailing linskensl@mywusdg. Each survey contains a unique confirmation code to avoid duplication.
The survey response deadline is Nov. 17. The Board of Education thanks the community for its support of our public schools and strongly encourages all voters in the district to complete the survey.
Class of 2025-2026
The Leadership-Watertown class had an engaging and full day of exploration and learning, beginning with breakfast and a tour of the historic Octagon House, complemented by a presentation from Gosling. From there, participants traveled to White Oak Builders to tour the facility and gain insight into local business practices. This was followed by a tour of the Schempf Building to discover the beauty and character of Main Street. Over lunch at Mullen’s, they discussed their ongoing projects and shared ideas. The day continued with a visit to Rosy Lane Holsteins, where participants toured the busy operations, followed by a trip to Turner Hall for a final tour and session evaluation.
“If you don’t know history, then you don’t know anything. You are a leaf that doesn’t know it is part of a tree.” – Michael Crichton ?
