2025-2026 Leadership Watertown Project
The Fanny P. Lewis Beautification Project aims to revitalize and enhance the community park to create a welcoming and sustainable outdoor space for residents and visitors. The initiative focuses on improving landscaping, adding recreational features, and promoting environmental stewardship through community involvement and local partnerships.
Click here for full proposal and how to get involved.
The project’s goals include:
Restoring and maintaining green spaces with new plants and trees
Painting and revitalizing the existing gazebo
Installing a bubbler (water fountain) with a dog‑accessible station
Encouraging increased community and visitor use
Adding signage that highlights historical significance and recognizes project sponsors
This initiative represents more than a single improvement—it reflects a broader vision for enhancing Fanny P. Lewis Park and strengthening its role as a central gathering place within our community.
The full project proposal outlines opportunities for local businesses and community partners to play a meaningful role through sponsorship, volunteer engagement, and visible investment in a shared community asset. Leadership Watertown invites you to review the proposal and consider how your organization can be part of this lasting transformation.
