Our Big Pop-Up is happening this Saturday, August 8, and we need your help to make it a success! Volunteers are the heart of this event, and every person who lends a hand helps create an amazing experience for the families and community members we serve. New This Year! Farmer’s Market After Hours brings a fresh twist to a community favorite. Enjoy the farmer’s market in a relaxed evening setting with local vendors, great finds, and a fun after-hours vibe. It’s a perfect chance to shop local, connect with neighbors, and experience the market in a whole new way.
NEW THIS YEAR! The Watertown Main Street Program will have Music on Main Street event T-shirts available for purchase! Just $10 to support the summer concert series. Bring your shirt to any of the Music on Main Street concerts to receive $1 off your purchase at Main Street Treats. You'll also be made aware of exclusive discounts and specials from sponsoring businesses. These are available for purchase at the Chamber office or at any of the upcoming concerts!
Jefferson County has received both FEMA and Wisconsin Disaster Fund declarations for the April flooding event, along with 18 other counties. As a result, home and business owners, renters, and certain non-profits in Jefferson County are eligible to apply for a couple different types of long-term, low-interest disaster loans.
Business Physical Damage Loans: up to $2 million for small/rural businesses and agricultural enterprises to repair or replace disaster-damaged property, real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery, and equipment.
Home Disaster Loans: up to $2 million for small /rural businesses and agricultural enterprises to repair or replace disaster damaged property, inventories, supplies, machinery, and equipment.
IN ADDITION, business and non-profit owners in the 33 counties contiguous to the 19 counties that received disaster declarations can apply for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans of up to $2 million to cover necessary operating expenses and working capital needs that were not met due to the storms of April 13-23.
The SBA Disaster Loan Application deadline is August 31, 2026, so please share soon! The Economic Injury Loan deadline is not until March 30, 2027, but is also great information to pass along right away.
