Heritage Military Music Foundation / 1st Brigade Band
Heritage Military Music Foundation, Inc. is the sponsor of the 1st Brigade Band, the oldest and largest Civil War re-enactment band in the world. An all-volunteer organization, the band owns more than 300 Civil War and antebellum musical instruments. Iin performance the band uses only antique instruments. With over 200 musical compositions in its books and more in the library, every performance is a unique experience.
The Museum is available by appointment, call 920-988-0614. Rehearsals, open to the public, are from 8:00 - 10:00 pm on Friday nights March through October. Some members usually arrive by 7:00 and are happy to show you around.
