PAVE

PAVE (Protect. Advocate. Validate. Educate.) was founded in 1978 with a clear and enduring mission: empowering those affected by violence. For over four decades, PAVE has grown to offer a wide range of services and programs, while remaining firmly committed to supporting individuals impacted by abuse and violence.

Serving communities across Dodge County, Watertown, and beyond, PAVE’s dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly year-round to provide advocacy, resources, and shelter to those in need. From crisis advocates and junior advocates to generous community supporters, every effort is rooted in the belief that no one should be forced into victimhood.

In 1990, PAVE opened its first shelter—an essential safe haven that now houses up to 20 individuals across five rooms. As the organization looks to the future, plans are underway to expand this vital facility, ensuring continued and growing support for survivors in the years ahead.
