Jefferson County Financial Empowerment Center
The Jefferson County Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) is a free public service dedicated to providing one-on-one financial counseling for all adults living or working in Jefferson County. Their certified financial counselors, trained by the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund, guide participants through various topics, including budgeting, debt management, credit improvement, and long-term goal setting.
The FEC delivers services across multiple community locations in Jefferson County and collaborates with local programs to offer financial counseling on important subjects such as building credit, saving for emergencies, and planning for families' futures. This invaluable service is completely free, made possible through a partnership between Jefferson County Human Services and the Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin, with additional support from sponsors like the CFE Fund.
For general inquiries about the Jefferson County FEC or to become a partner with the program, please contact FEC Program Manager Rhiannon Tonies at rhiannont@cacscw.org.
