Business Directory

Lake Country K9 to 5 is a locally owned and operated dog care and training business serving Watertown, Wisconsin, and the surrounding communities. Founded in 2016 by certified dog trainer Ashley Romero, our mission is simple: provide safe, enriching, and personalized care that puts the well-being of every dog first.

We offer a variety of services designed to support dogs and their families throughout every stage of life, including Daycare, K9 Adventure Camp, Hiking Daycamp, Boarding, Puppy Preschool, Dog Training, and grooming services.

Our approach is different from traditional dog daycare. We focus on small groups, individualized attention, enrichment, structured activities, and safe socialization. Our programs are designed around the needs of the individual dog rather than simply providing a place for dogs to spend the day.

Our training programs emphasize positive reinforcement, force-free methods, and humane, science-based practices. From puppies learning their first skills to adult dogs working toward their Canine Good Citizen certification, we help families build stronger relationships with their dogs through education and practical training.

As a locally owned business, we are proud to be part of the Watertown community. Our goal is not only to provide exceptional care for local dogs, but also to create a trusted resource for pet owners and contribute to the growth and well-being of the community we call home.

At Lake Country K9 to 5, we believe dogs deserve more than just care—they deserve to be understood, enriched, and treated like family.
