After working at Seattle's renowned Canlis restaurant and serving as the former Executive Pastry Chef at North Pond, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Chicago, April decided to bring her passion for baking to Watertown, Wisconsin.

In 2020, during the pandemic when many were home making sourdough and banana bread, April and Charity Chandler recognized the perfect opportunity to start a bakery. Since then, they have been dedicated to providing delicious treats to their customers.

Chandler House Bakery prides itself on using high-quality ingredients, including plenty of butter, buttercream, fresh or frozen fruit, and Wisconsin dairy products whenever possible. Their menu features beloved favorites such as cheesecake, anything with lemon, and a lively debate about crispy versus chewy cookies. They also cater special events and accept custom orders.
