About us

We produce high-quality milk replacers for infant animals across the country. Through our expertise in animal nutrition, welfare, and production management, we support the profitability of our customers and their operations.

 

Strauss Feeds is a family-owned agricultural business. Today we make high-quality milk replacers for calves and other young animals, but over 150 years ago, the company was just a small water-powered mill on a farm along the Eel River in North Manchester, Indiana. Founded in 1875 by Daniel Strauss, the great-great-grandfather of the current managing generation, the mill was a place where farmers came to grind their grain. Today, we still have that same feed mill and continue our family’s tradition of agricultural excellence into a sixth generation.
