Tickets for the Watertown Players’ production of “You Can’t Take It With You” Youth Theatre Staged Radio Production are now on sale at Piggly Wiggly, 1330 Memorial Dr., Watertown for $15 or by calling the box office--(920)306-4364. Tickets will also be available at the door before each of the performances for $20. The show will be performed August 15 and 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., and on August 16 and 17 at 2:00 pm. at the Watertown Players’ Theater, 210 S. Water St. (inside The Market), Watertown, WI. “You Can't Take It With You” was written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman. This show is produced by arrangement with Old Time Radio Researchers.

“You Can’t Take It With You” is a family-friendly romantic comedy/farce that tells the story of the Sycamores, a large and extended family of charming eccentrics. Alice is one of the daughters in the family, who loves her family very much but is embarrassed by their idiosyncrasies. When she and her boss Tony, a young businessman, fall in love she fears that their two families –so unlike each other-- will never come together. When the families meet, fireworks and comedy explode! This year’s show is unique because it will be presented as a Staged Radio production, which means the performers will be reading from scripts, but will also be in costume and be making entrances and exits as they would in a non-radio version of the show.
