The Watertown Players are happy to announce their upcoming Children's Theater Workshop. The workshop is open for children of all genders aged 6 - 12, and no prior acting experience is required to participate. The cost of the Workshop is $10.00. Registration/Auditions will be on Friday January 30 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm and on Saturday January 31 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Watertown Players Theater 210 S Water St, Watertown WI.
Children who want to be a part of the workshop should go to https://signup.com/go/vnGYrHT and sign up for a 15 minute spot on either Friday Jan 30 or Saturday Jan 31.

The 2026 Children's Theater Workshop show is Aesop's Fables, Oh So Slightly Updated. This show weaves five of Aesop's most famous fables into a production that is fun, fast paced and full of surprises.
There are a wide variety of roles available from animals such as a lion, mouse, donkey and dog to townspeople that include a butcher and a maid.
Rehearsals will take place on Saturdays from 12:00 - 4:00 from February 1 through April 11, with additional rehearsals the week of April 13. Four shows will be performed the weekend of April 17-18-19 2026. The show is being produced in partnership with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French. This workshop is being funded in part by a Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Community Investment Grant.
