Tickets are now on sale for the Watertown Players’ upcoming production of Leaving Iowa. Advance tickets can be purchased for $15 at Piggly Wiggly, 1330 Memorial Drive, Watertown, or online at https://watertownplayers.square.site/s/shop . Further information is available by calling the Watertown Players Box Office at (920)306-4364. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20 until the house is sold out. The show will be performed at The Watertown Players Theater, 210 S Water St (in the Market). Important note, there is an update to the performance dates. The show will now be presented one weekend only: September 25 at 7:00 pm, September 26 at 2:00 pm &amp; 7:00 pm, and September 27 at 2:00 pm.

The cast of the show includes: Bryan Turner as Don, Jennie Ortega as Mom, Jeff Boyce as Dad, Kayla George as Sis, Lisa Steffl as Multi-Character Gal, and Andrew Woodard as Multi-Character Guy. The show is under the direction of Jim Steffl, with Kevin Zimdars as Stage Manager, Elizabeth Boxell as the producer, and Blaine Landowski as Technical Director.

Leaving Iowa is a comedy written by Tim Clue and Spike Manton. It is centered around Don Browning, a middle-aged writer, who returns home and decides to finally take his father&#39;s ashes to his childhood home, as requested. But when Don discovers Grandma&#39;s house is now a grocery store, he begins traveling across Iowa searching for a proper resting place for his father. This father-and-son road trip shifts smoothly from the present to Don&#39;s memories of the annual, torturous vacations of his childhood in the old station wagon with his Mom and Sister. Ride along with them as they visit roadside attractions, historical markers, & flea markets, and meet some very interesting characters on the way.
