Third Shift-11 pm-7:30 am 

 

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Associate B performs simple assembly tasks. The role assists various machine operators, may be assigned a variety of manual labor tasks in the production of finished goods, and may be assigned sanitation duties.  Duties may vary from day to day, with more specific directions provided for assigned tasks. This role operates under moderate to close supervision. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities. 

·                     Assist operators in setting up and monitoring machine operations. 

·                     Monitor product quality according to company standards. 

·                     Assist with keeping equipment and area clean and orderly. 

·                     Responsible for arriving on time daily for shift, properly wearing personal protective equipment in accordance with GMP/company standards, and being ready for shift startup. 

·                     Communicate with others online to maintain and assure proper product flow. 

·                     Comply with direction and guidance provided by leadership to follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and other work rules. 

·                     Support and promote all company policies, including maintaining company expectations for people and food safety. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

·                     Required to wear clean plastic gloves and sleeves to handle or touch food, objects, tools, or controls.  

·                     The employee is also required to wear hair and beard nets, clean white smocks and plastic aprons, and slip-resistant shoes.  

·                     A production employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp, reach, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, see, talk, or hear. 

·                     The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist.   

·                     The employee occasionally is required to reach above and below the shoulders.   

·                     The employee will regularly lift and/or move 10 up to 50 pounds, and regularly push and/or pull up to 10 pounds.
