In this three-hour class students will learn how to make their own beads from magazines, learn how to seal the beads to make them strong and then use them to create a one of a kind necklace.By taking this class, students will also be making a positive impact on the lives of others. We will be learning about BEAD FOR LIFE, an organization that partners with paper bead makers in Uganda, Africa. Their mission: Creating sustainable opportunities for women to lift their families out of poverty by connecting people worldwide in a circle of exchange that enriches everyone.We are taking $5 from every ticket sold to support this organization in the form of pure monetary donation as well as support through purchasing their handmade paper bead jewelry. * The jewelry we buy will be raffled off to a lucky student in the class!All materials included.Class meets on 6/28, 4-7 pmTaught by: Mrs. Ashley Klug / 262-352-9948 /ashmarie@ashleykluginspired.com Set Apart Art 725 W.
