Needle Felting Workshop-Cactus

Please join us in a step by step needle felting workshop. Needle felting is the art of sculpting wool with special, barbed needles. Stabbing the wool over and over again meshing the wool fibers together, creating a firm, textile object. In our case a "cactus". All supplies included and students will leave with one cactus, a small terra cotta pot, and material to put their cactus in the pot. If time allows, we will demonstrate how to sculpt a small succulent. *sharp needles are used in this art process, so this class is not recommended for young children. Recommended age is 10 +up.
