     I grew up in Oak Park, Illinois and after graduating from Oak Park/River Forest High School, I attended the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater where I studied music education.

     My first job was at a small family run pharmacy in Oak Park, Illinois. I moved to Watertown in 2005 and started with Holz-Watertown in February, 2006 selling new and used cars.  My achievements include becoming a Certified Technology Expert, as well as a 3 time Mark of Excellence Award winner. 

     I have been involved in the Watertown Chamber's Get REAL program for many years.  It is important for me to give back to the community and to be a voice to/for younger generations about all of the positive initiatives that are happening in Watertown.

     My wife, Jennifer (who is also an ambassador), and I live in Watertown. I enjoy music, singing, golf, and fishing.

Leadership Watertown Class of 2017-18 Applications Being Accepted!

     The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2017/2018 Leadership Watertown class!

     Leadership Watertown is a tuition-based program offered by the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce to its members and their employees. The mission of Leadership Watertown is to develop a core group of dedicated leaders and educate them on the opportunities and needs of Watertown, with a focus on project management and leadership skills.

     Leadership Watertown runs from August through May and is divided into two segments: class time and team project. Class time occurs each month and consists of a combination of speakers, tours and demonstrations that familiarize students with the community. The team project consists of a community service project selected by the Leadership Board.

Office Brochure Racks/Business Cards

Hundreds of people come to the chamber looking for goods and services.  With our office renovation, we have beautiful display racks for brochures and menus.  We also just got in our second business card holder.  Help us advertise for you in the office!  

Conference Room

Council gives Clasen OK to keep growing

The Watertown Common Council met Tuesday in regular session and with little discussion approved several ordinances and resolutions, one approving a fourth amendment to a developer's agreement with Clasen Quality Chocolate, Inc.

This action will allow Clasen to progress with considerable growth at its west side Watertown site. Under the plan and its fourth amendment, the city will receive $1 for the property to be used in the expansion.

Alderman Ken Berg said the city has been working with "a proven firm" in Clasen.

The exchange will allow Clasen to pave the way for a $13.5 million addition to its site and increase employment at the plant.

According to Mayor John David, Clasen is currently finishing up an approximately $3 million addition, and the city has been very supportive of the business and its goals on the west side of the city.
