The Sinnissippi Solar Farm, to be located on approximately 2,100 acres within Jefferson County, WI, will boost the Jefferson County economy and create jobs while generating clean, American made energy to help meet Wisconsin’s growing electricity demand.
The solar farm will generate up to 300 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough to power 75,000 Wisconsin homes, using silicon photovoltaic (PV) modules fixed to single-axis solar trackers. Compared to traditional sources of energy production, the emissions reduction equivalent from this clean energy project are the same as removing 3 million cars off the road.
Sinnissippi Solar will contribute more than $3 million annually to the local economy through landowner payments, tax revenues, local spending, and salaries, providing more than $120 million over the life of the project.
Congratulations to Home Helpers of Lake Country for receiving the 2019 Best of Home Care - Leader in Excellence, Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice Awards from Home Care Pulse.

The EPIC Award, which stands for Entrepreneurial, Progressive, Innovative and Collaborative, was awarded to Glenn's Market & Catering. The award recognizes a business that contributes to the well-being of the community, demonstrates growth and collaborates with other businesses and organizations.
Two new awards were given at this year's dinner. The Watertown Tourism Commission proudly recognized Watertown Veterans Inc., for their impact on local tourism during the 2018 Watertown Military Show and the Moving Wall exhibit. Their simultaneous events brought visitors from all over the country and created solidarity within our own community. The Watertown Main Street Program presented it's Making a Difference on Main Street Award to WEPCO Printing for the many years of time and talent they have dedicated to the Art on Main banner program.
Lastly, the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors were recognized for providing a significant service to the chamber.
