Dear Chamber Members,
The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce was excited to finally celebrate our 100th anniversary with a Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 21st. What a great event it turned out to be with so many attendees dressed in their 1920's themed outfits. The evening was complete with photos by a 1926 Model T, a signature drink famous in the 1920's and dance lessons on some Charleston moves. We are proud to have served the business community for the past 100 years and look forward to a bright future for the Watertown area business community. Thank you to everyone who attended and sponsored this event.
We had a great Wake Up Watertown this morning hosted at Milford Hills Hunt Club. Our next two events are Digital Marketing Training on Wednesday, November 10th and the Educational Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, November 17th. Check out all the details for these two events in our Chamber Calendar of Events.
Our next bi-weekly newsletter will be sent out Wednesday, November 17th. During this time if your organization is hiring, offering programs, or have events to promote, please let us know so we can share with our membership and the community. Please send information by Friday, November 12th to info@watertownchamber.com.

Leadership Watertown strives to develop a corps of informed, committed, and qualified individuals capable of and willing to provide dynamic leadership in the Watertown area.
Over the next several newsletters you will learn more about each member of this year's Leadership Watertown Class.
Attorney Julia Chidley
I am an attorney and a partner at Bender, Larson, Chidley, Koppes & Associates, S.C., with my practice focused on family law, business law, probate, and estate planning. My passion is litigation.
I graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School and served as a member and an associate editor for Marquette Law Review. Before that, I graduated from a Ukrainian university with a degree in education, Ukrainian language, literature, world literature, and ethnology, with honors; and then, from Madison Area Technical College as a paralegal, with honors. Prior to and during the law school, I worked in Sun Prairie as a paralegal for a general practice law firm for five years, gaining intense hands-on practical experience in the legal areas of probate, criminal law, personal injury, bankruptcy, and family law.
In addition to my legal training, I am certified in grief therapy through the American Institute of Healthcare Professionals. The latter training provides me with the ability to better hear, understand, and help my clients and their families deal with the emotional challenges of their legal situation.
I am married and have a daughter who is a UW Madison neurobiology student and two step-children. I am fluent in Russian and Ukrainian languages. I enjoy hiking, camping, gardening, decorating, spending time on water, archery and target shooting, and traveling with my husband. I am married to a licensed falconer and it has been a fascinating journey to learn about his birds of pray. I even got to name some of them!
