Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors – January 2019
I am originally from Watertown, Wisconsin. I graduated from Watertown High School in 1999. From there I went on to the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, with an emphasis in Human Resources. While attending college my senior year, my boyfriend (now my husband) proposed to me on the beautiful bluffs of La Crosse. Of course I said yes, which is what brought me back to living in the Watertown area. In May of 2003 I moved back to Watertown and was offered a job in the Marketing department for U S Chemical. At the time U S Chemical had a corporate office in Brookfield, WI. In early 2004 the office in Brookfield closed and was relocated to Watertown. I took it as a sign that I was just meant to be in Watertown! Since starting with U S Chemical in 2003 I have worked in various Marketing positions with the most current being the Marketing Manager for the past 7 years. U S Chemical is a division of Diversey, Inc.
Being involved in the community that I reside in has always been a goal of mine. As the Marketing Manager of U S Chemical I am fortunate to work with the institutional, commercial and industrial sides of business, but not specifically in Watertown. Being on the Board of Directors will allow me to progress in additional segments and give back to my community.
My husband Mike, and I currently reside in Watertown. We have two children – our son, Carsten and our daughter, Embrey. Our son is a sophomore at Watertown High School and our daughter is in 6th grade at Lebanon Lutheran School. They keep us very involved in all school events, along with every sport imaginable! Outside of work, home and sports, I find time to enjoy our camper and our two dogs, Jordy and Kirby. I try to find time to relax in the sun while at the beach, with a good book! I also enjoy hanging out with my family, friends and vacationing whenever possible.
Bank First Announces promotions for the Watertown Branch!
Joshua Patterson, Vice President – Branch Manager, is being promoted to Vice President – Market Manager in Watertown. Joshua joined Bank First in 2020 and has over 16 years of experience in the financial industry, specializing in mortgage lending and small business lending. A proven leader in the Watertown market, Joshua will continue to be responsible for growing new and enhancing existing retail banking relationships, as well as small business relationships. He will also be instrumental in attracting and developing a core team of bankers in Bank First’s Watertown office. Joshua graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Wisconsin Lutheran College. He is currently a member of the Jefferson County Board of Realtors and the Realtors Association of South Central Wisconsin. He recently served as a member of the school board at his church in Jefferson and enjoys spending time as a volunteer youth coach. Joshua enjoys playing basketball in winter recreation leagues, is an avid sports fan, enjoys camping with his family, and takes pleasure in lending a helping hand on his parent’s farm. He lives in Jefferson with his wife, Melissa, and their four children.

Leadership Watertown strives to develop a corps of informed, committed, and qualified individuals capable of and willing to provide dynamic leadership in the Watertown area.
Over the next several newsletters you will learn more about each member of this year's Leadership Watertown Class.
Sharon Heinzelman
I was born and raised in the Lake Country Area. I raised my two girls in the Hartland area, and they were 3rd generation Arrowhead students.
I enjoy going to NASCAR races, concerts, plays and camping. My most recent favorite thing to do is watch my granddaughter who was born 7-6-21.
Growing up, my family-owned different restaurants and bars, which I went on to manage. After I was married and raising my own family, we sold our last restaurant. I continued to serve at local restaurants until my girls were older. In 2006 I started my career in banking as a part-time CSR at a local Community Bank. I worked my way up to a Customer Service Manager and led various teams for ten years. I then was offered an opportunity to be the Branch Manager at Ixonia Bank’s Corporate office in 2018. After three years in that position, I was approached to become the Watertown Area Manager, and manage both our offices here in Watertown.
I am very excited to be part of this Leadership Watertown class to enhance my leadership skills. I am also looking forward to learning about this great city, not only what it has to offer but the history behind it. I feel have always been a natural leader and I look forward to serving this community.
