Cheryl has been at the front lines of Commonheart’s Home Health (formerly known as Marquardt Home Health) for over 29 years. She has ensured that Home Health has been provided to those in need in the greater Watertown community and has worked closely with residents, families, and patients to provide incredible customer service and care promptly and efficiently. She has always been a champion of personally connecting with her staff and supporting them in any way possible to ensure their success in meeting their customer’s needs, always taking the time to recognize the team’s efforts and show that they are truly appreciated. Cheryl has also managed to dedicate her time to training CNAs through MATC, which has enhanced the development of highly skilled caregivers prepared to deliver person-centered care amongst Watertown’s health care providers. In addition, Cheryl has always been able and willing to support the Watertown Public Health Department with its efforts around community wellbeing, including lending helping hands with clinics and volunteering for many community events. Not only would Cheryl give the shirt off her back to make sure people are getting what they need, but she removes the barriers that prevent her clients from receiving the care they need, in turn helping them to regain their quality of life. Cheryl’s outstanding history of delivering excellence in customer service has been instrumental in growing Home Health to the level it is today, helping Commonheart achieve the goals of innovative excellence, engaged compassionate culture, and strengthened organizational growth.
