Dear Chamber Members,
We are excited to announce the Leadership Watertown's class project for 2023.
Each year, Leadership Watertown selects a community project. This year's Leadership Watertown class of 2023 project is Bike Rentals at the Interurban Trailhead. The class has partnered with Surf-Shack Rentals to have 4 adult bikes and 2 children’s bikes in a lockable storage unit located on Clark Street. The Leadership Watertown Class could not be more excited to bring this project to Watertown. Renting a bike is a fun, family-friendly activity for all ages to get out and enjoy the Interurban Trailhead or explore Watertown in a new way.
For more details about this project and how you can get involved click here for more details.
Our next bi-weekly newsletter will be sent out Wednesday, May 3rd. During this time if your organization is hiring, offering programs, or have events to promote, please let us know so we can share with our membership and the community. Please send information by Friday, April 28th to info@watertownchamber.com.

Watertown High School'sSolar Car TeamAdopt-A-Cell FundraiserYour local SkillsUSA chapter has taken up a big project this year: building a car that runs on solar power! This car will drive from Fort Worth, TX all the way to Palmdale CA. This is an expensive project, and requires support from our Watertown community! This is where Adopt-A-Cell comes in, you can pay $20 to “adopt” a certain solar cell on the car. Along with supporting this massive project, each cell you buy gives you a 5 in. by 5 in. square to put whatever you want in it (as long as it is appropriate), which will be displayed on our website! Adopt a cell and learn more from our website: WatertownStem.org Thank you for all of your support! |
