The Chamber staff has been busy working on programming and events for 2024. We have laid out all the sponsorship opportunities for the full year and have links to each event listed below.
As you wrap of your holiday shopping and to help in your shop local efforts we wanted to remind you of our Chamber Gift Checks. A Chamber Gift Check can be used at over 200 Chamber member businesses and make a great gift for employees, teacher gifts, and that person on your list that is hard to shop for. For larger orders please call ahead or email info@watertownchamber.com to place your orders.
As we move through the holiday season we will continue to promote our Chamber members who offer specials and holiday events. Please send your information to the Chamber staff at info@watertownchamber.com . Not only will we be posting your specials on our Chamber website we will also share the link to our Member Promotions and Events on all our social media channels with boosted posts to gain even greater exposure this holiday season. Please allow us 3 business days before your launch or sale date.
Our next bi-weekly newsletter will be sent out on December 27th. During this time if your organization is hiring, offering programs, or having events to promote, please let us know so we can share with our membership and the community. Watertown Regional Medical Center Upgrades MRI Technology
New Technology will improve patient experience and comfort and deliver a more consistent image quality.
Watertown, WI – Watertown Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the installation of a new MRI machine. The upgraded technology features improved processing speeds for less time on the table, a wider opening for increased patient comfort, and enhanced resolution for clearer and more consistent images.
An MRI is a medical imaging technique that uses a magnetic field to create detailed images of organs and tissues inside your body. Radiologists and other medical providers use MRI results to help diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of issues including joint problems, structural problems, abnormalities, and tumors.
“We’re excited about this new MRI and what it will offer Watertown and the surrounding communities,” said Dr. Jeff Van Beek, Radiologist and Medical Director of Diagnostic Services at Watertown Regional Medical Center. “The improved image quality is similar to the changes your TV or cell phone have gone through over the last 10 to 15 years. The enhanced resolution will improve our diagnostic abilities leading to a more accurate and efficient diagnosis and more precise treatment plan.”
The upgraded technology also allows for scans in certain areas of the body which the previous machine wasn’t capable of. One of the specialties that will benefit from this is Urology as patients will be able to stay right here in Watertown for a more seamless patient experience.
In addition to the technology upgrades, the new MRI machine features a wider opening that increases patient comfort, decreases claustrophobia, and accommodates patients of all shapes and sizes. Keeping more patients in Watertown and closer home for their healthcare.
“It is our goal to continue building a healthcare center the people of Watertown can be proud of,” said Richard Keddington, CEO of Watertown Regional Medical Center. “The recently upgraded MRI and the newly renovated Cath lab which opened earlier this year, give us the latest technology that helps us do just that.”
Watertown Regional Medical Center would like to thank their ownership partners ScionHealth and the Greater Watertown Community Health Foundation for approving and financing this project. Their partnership ensures people in Watertown have access to the latest technology for their healthcare.
