Jacob A. Maas
Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Director – January 2016
Leadership Watertown – Class of 2016
I am originally from Lebanon, Wisconsin. I graduated from Watertown High School in 1998. I went on to the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Geography. The following fall, I attended Western Michigan University where I received my master’s degree in Geography in 2006. Upon completion of my master’s degree I moved to San Marcos, Texas to pursue a PhD at Texas State University. While attending Texas State University I worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and was a National Science Foundation GK-12 Fellow. Unfortunately I never finished my PhD, but I met my wife. So, I still came out ahead. In May of 2010 I moved back to Wisconsin. In early 2011 I took a job with the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. While working for the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians I served as their Environmental Program Director and Environmental Health Specialist. In 2014 I accepted the position of City of Watertown Zoning & Floodplain Administrator/Grant Writer.
Being a civil servant has always meant a great deal to me. Every day it is my duty to serve the community that I love and reside within. As the Zoning & Floodplain Administrator I am fortunate to work with the residential, institutional, commercial and industrial segments of the City of Watertown. Each segment provides its own challenges, but there is always an opportunity for progress.
My wife Claire, my sons Christian & Barrett, and I reside in the North Washington Street Historic District. I also serve on the Wisconsin DNR’s Dodge County Deer Advisory Council, I am also Vice-Chair for the Wisconsin Association of Floodplain, Stormwater, & Coastal Managers (WAFSCM). Outside of work, home and organizations, I find enjoyment in the outdoors (including hunting and fishing) and hanging out with my vast extended family (my father is 1 of 15, and my mother is 1 of 7) whenever possible.

A proven leader in the Watertown market, Joshua will continue to be responsible for growing new and enhancing existing retail banking relationships, as well as small business relationships. He will also be instrumental in attracting and developing a core team of bankers in Bank First’s Watertown office. Joshua graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Wisconsin Lutheran College. He is currently a member of the Jefferson County Board of Realtors and the Realtors Association of South Central Wisconsin. He recently served as a member of the school board at his church in Jefferson and enjoys spending time as a volunteer youth coach. Joshua enjoys playing basketball in winter recreation leagues, is an avid sports fan, enjoys camping with his family, and takes pleasure in lending a helping hand on his parent’s farm. He lives in Jefferson with his wife, Melissa, and their four children.

Andrea Peters
I currently live in Juneau, WI with my husband Mark and my son Ethan.
My family also includes two hunting hounds Willie & Hank.
I joined the Watertown Fire Department in 2012 as the Administrative Assistant. Over the course of my employment my position has changed drastically with added responsibilities and two days are never the same. Some of my duties include recruitment, new employee onboarding, EMS billing compliance, HIPPA compliance, marketing, payroll, and anything else that may come up along the way. I enjoy the variety my position offers as well as the support to grow professionally. I also serve as the President of the Wisconsin Fire Service Administrative Association and as a Board Member of the Horicon Youth Trap Team. The Wisconsin Fire Service Administration Association (WFSAA) is an organization made up of administrative assistants, secretaries, and other related support staff from fire departments throughout the state. We meet on a quarterly basis at different locations for a business meeting and educational session.
When I am not working, I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in human resource management through Columbia Southern University.
In my spare time I enjoy camping and traveling with my family. I also enjoy attending all my child’s sporting events (which keeps us very busy!)
