Dear Chamber Members,
Now is the time to apply for the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce Community Investment Grant. The purpose of this grant is to provide support for Chamber member businesses for events, programs, projects and educational initiatives to strengthen the Watertown area community. Who is eligible? Chamber members paid in full for the calendar year. A total of up to $5,000 will be given in 2024. Grants are available for up to 50% of project/event budget. The application deadline is October 31st, 2023. Please find more information and the application by clicking here.
The Watertown Main Street Program will once again be hosting Pumpkin Palooza on Saturday, October 28th. Any Chamber member business is welcome to come downtown to hand out candy during the Main Street Trick-or-Treat from 1-3pm. If your business is interested please contact Melissa by emailing her at watertownmainstreet@gmail.com
It is hard to believe how fast 2023 has flown by. The Chamber staff, board and committees are already busy working on events and programing for 2024. As we continue to work through the 2024 plans we did want to share that we have selected a theme and date for our annual celebration. Save the date - February 29th, 2024 for Flannel Fling Before Spring.
Our next bi-weekly newsletter will be sent out October 18th. During this time if your organization is hiring, offering programs, or have events to promote, please let us know so we can share with our membership and the community. Please send information by Friday, October 13th to info@watertownchamber.com.
